Wow.
How good was that?
OK, a couple of bits of dodgy dialogue, and the last scene had a distinct whiff of cheddar, but still. An incredible amount of storytelling packed into 50-odd minutes, a couple of stand-out performances (Nick Hoult and Harry Enfield, and arguably Mitch Hewer, and Bill Bailey and the dog), and the promise of even better things to come.
Writers of drivel like The OC, Nine Tree Hill, etc, please sit down and take notes.
