Having spent every spare moment I had this weekend studying, I have made a couple observations:

(01) I am not as stupid as I thought I was; I understand the things that are going on in class (with the help of the textbook, as well as copious help from Google, Wikipedia, and the Macrogalleria). I just haven't been putting the required weekly work

Funny sort-of-related aside? Last night the cat was amusing herself by climbing in and out of my messenger bag (I had, of course, emptied it of the usual textbooks and notes, making it irresistable to a cat). She stayed long enough for me to get a photo but not long enough for me to pick up the bag (I tried). I almost had the chance to bring a small, furry, scared shitless animal to the exam, though!

It's that, combined with the "Oh? I'm sorry, were you doing something? Did you need that newspaper / those class notes / that stack of bills that I just sat down on? Dreadfully sorry, but whatever you were doing is going to have to wait while you fucking pet me and worship me like your job description says."
