A series of letters.

Dear Columbus,

Hi! YOU ARE IN OHIO. PLEASE BUY A SNOWPLOW. When I cannot change lanes on a major highway due to the mountains of snow still on the road, and I've seen over 12 cars in ditches who did try to change lanes in the last 20 minutes, and this is not an exaggeration - something is wrong. I have never driven 40 on a highway before. ( Read more... )

bad kitty mommy, i do not want you to be pointy, i can't make this shit up, angry letters

You've gone 40 on a highway before unless you've been lucky enough to avoid ever getting stuck in construction and or behind an accident! ;)

But Columbus does suck at plowing, I actually was driving through grass at one point when I went to school down there as you could not really tell that it wasn't the road as it was unplowed. The car actually handled better on it too. :)

It was ridiculous. Do they think they're like a tropical paradise? Cause they ain't.

Well the thing is they don't really get all that much snow...not like up around us at least. When they do they probably just don't have as many trucks and such to clean off the road. :O

How was saturday?

Well, I'm spoiled from growing up in Buffalo, I guess. They have one plow per road, and they begin plowing while the snow is still falling to ensure that people can fucking drive.

That's the way it should be done!

Saturday was fun. I went to a cabaret.

That's cool. Thus the whining about columbus.

Bowling girl update: She has been sent the super bowl email...so possibly she will be there.

HOORAYS!!!

How many people are coming? Do you have room for potentially two more people?

Reply

hilldo January 23 2007, 15:44:47 UTC
Depends on the two. I don't really like random people I've never met showing up at parties at my place. Seems as though these types of people feel less obligation to respect the house they are in. I'm not saying this is true of your friends...

I would guess 14 or 15...but as always hard to get a definite number since no one ever lets me know if they are coming for sure.

Well you met Kas at the halloween party, she's the one that put Jason in the skirt. She and her husband don't have anything to do on Super Bowl day and are looking for a party. I'm not even sure if they would come since it's on a Sunday evening, I don't know their work schedule. But I didn't want to pass on an invite to your house without checking with you!

I'd say no...only on the basis of I'd rather keep it to people I know directly since I don't technically live where it is going to be.
Understandable I hope.

This is true.
I'll have enough to worry about with Captain Bottlethrower promising to heave more bottles in the yard if there is snow.
There will be an asskicking if this occurs though.
