What FF4 fic stuff are you working on?

I've been having difficulty writing myself. I'm trying to do a lot of different things. One FF4 (adult) fic I'm going to do is going to be a replacement for one I did a while ago that I'm very much not happy with anymore. I also want to do something Halloween-ish for Halloween.

I'm working on a giftfic for someone, from the ABC meme but meant to be something a little special too. And damn is it giving me trouble. I don't know; usually FFIV is easy for me.

Ah, I'm not sure what I can say to resolve that. I had a big mental block for FF4 adult fic with Rosa in it until I did a giftfic for ixmythot that's a bit complex but ultimately led to Rosa with loosened inhibitions. You could try a silly piece too, like something with the Developer's Room, starting it with a 'fun' premise automatically washed away a lot of the tension I get from taking it too seriously. :)

Yeah, I started twice yesterday and liked neither. I think I just need a better premise to begin with. XD

Which reminds me, you can claim something on the ABC meme if you'd like! I've already written Rosa once.

Can you link me to the Rosa? I want to feel happy and I know you do nice things with her when you do write her. All the characters, really.

On the capslock fic: if you don't want to write it, don't worry about it. I know I mention it at times when I message, but I'm not trying to MAKE you do it either, just a gentle reminder. Don't feel obligated. :)

I'll try to think of the best way of putting it as a prompt for you.

I think these comments back and forth helped me toward ideas for later holiday FF4 fics including Rosa that have adult themes, like with the others I'll just mention it in my LJ when I do them. :)

I definitely do still want to write it! I had a really good idea for it, too! I just keep forgetting. And if you didn't notice, September kind-of ate me alive.

I haven't been checking LJ as much as I used to, so I didn't see it as readily as I would have if I had been paying closer attention. My prompt might not be worded very well when I post it, but I'll do what I can there. Hopefully the prompt I give doesn't conflict with the idea you had for it.

I hope October so far is going better than September did!

...I'd probably go to the BAD fandom hell if I wrote something with NC-17 Cid x his daughter, wouldn't I?

Hey, it depends on the crowd! I'm not a big fan of parent/child incest (except in terms of sheer mindfuckery) but as I do occasionally dig the sibling incest/twincest I am certainly not going to ran on your parade! Write and let write.

I appreciate you leaving me a prompt! My good idea was pretty general, so I'll hopefully still be able to use it.

Hmm, I'll have to let it sit. I have this Halloween idea bubbling out and I want to get ideas out, but I also kinda want to give a reason for the characters to act so differently from normal besides "the writer would like to write this even if the character would never do it."

I'm gonna go leave that prompt for you now. :)
