Catching up
Yesterday, I think I put in about 3,000 words for my novel, catching up with what I missed during this turbulent October. It felt good, but now I'm worn out. Might take a break from writing today.
This is for the historical novel that I'm writing with a co-author. He is ahead a bit, since he'll be very busy in November. Our deadline is end of December which will give us several months to work out kinks and transitions from one chapter to the other, plus do editing runs with the publisher. We both have an MC, and tend to keep to their perspective, even though we've now started to weave dialogue between the two. It's a very interesting way of writing a novel, since we have two strings of action that tend to interweave more towards the end.
It's fun, but also a bit harrowing.
