Torchwood finale - okay, I admit that I cried and that the last scene between Tosh & Owen got to me but apart from that...hmmmph. I found my self not caring about what happened in Jack's story and that is not how you should feel about the lead of the show.
Doctor Who, on the other hand, was bloomin marvellous. The scene where Donna & the Doctor saw each other for the first time and communicated by hand gestures was absolute genius. RTD - please spare a little of your talent and pass it on to the Torchwood creative team. I watched it again yesterday and BBC3 showed it with a commentary by David Tennant, Catherine Tate and Phil Collinson. I was fascinated to hear that the scene with Rose was kept out of the press preview and so was a surprise to everyone when it was shown on Saturday night. That's the way to keep stuff out the papers!
I hope I get to see next weeks episode at the convention (we may all be in our hotel rooms at 6.45!) Sadly the lovely Jamie Bamber has had to cancel. I'm gutted but he is busy filming more Battlestar and hopefully will come back when the series is over.
All for now. Only 3 more days of work before my long convention weekend - woohoo!
