The main part of my AVF 165 project is over. Thank God!!! I was so stressed, but then again I think I would have taken things better if I hadn't been sick with a stomach virus and then a rotten cold. I was "One Who Sneezes Like Thunder" on Saturday and I think unfortunately got a few members of my crew sick.
I was really worried that things would go horribly wrong, but I was shocked that everything went right. Well, I shouldn't say anything because a few things did go wrong. I thought we could tape from 9pm-10pm but we are only allowed to tape from 8:30pm-9:30pm. Gershon was upset because of this and because we didn't finish taping until 10:15pm. TNL lost their lighting time because we ran over to. But Ed, Matt and I showed up this morning to help get things done.
I feel like one of those dogs in the circus that has a thousand hoops placed in front of me that I have to jump through. Except some of the hoops have spikes or are on fire or some other crazy excessive obstacle. I had to battle with Memorial Hall to get things done but now all my paperwork is straightened out. (I will explain another time). I got all of my documents sent out to Los Angeles. I passed the test I took in Chicago and now move on to the next round of selection, which required my transcripts and a letter from the registar's office. I also passed my test for New York. I have an interview scheduled for April 15th. If I pass through this next round of selection, I will have to have an interview with the New York DGA's Board of Trustees on May 11th or 12th and have to fly to Los Angeles for an interview with the LA Assessment Center. I'm getting closer but I hope I don't get eliminated when I'm so close.
