-Seen on the KFC ad board outside of the Bel Air KFC. Nice.
I'm exhausted. I was up until 3 this morning and back up at 7:30 to start loading stuff up and get over to the Harris House for the yard sale. We got set up, the boys made a Chick Fil A run for breakfast, and then they occupied the girls for a bit before Ed packed up Mia and headed home to relax and nap.
I ended up making about $45, but still had a ton of stuff left over. I loaded everything into the truck, Eric and Michelle loaded their stuff, and then Eric and I left to go straight to Goodwill to unload. Woohoo! OUT OF MY HOUSE! All that's left is a TV that's lacking volume (it was our living room TV that broke a couple of months ago and was replaced the night it broke with a new flat panel), which is going to the recycling center this week. It weighs a friggin' ton.
I'm down two laundry baskets, which were full of clothes so I just left them with Goodwill, too. They're cheap enough to replace, and I really only need one of those two anyway.
People are funny at yard sales. People kept looking for baby clothes that were new with tags. Is that a common thing to find at yard sales? We had a ton of stuff, especially Michelle, that looked brand new, but it had at least been washed, if not worn once or twice. Nothing was stained or worn - we threw all of that out.
Someone also asked Michelle if my laundry baskets were for sale when I was out getting some change. Thank God she said no... I wouldn't have anything to haul actual laundry around in my house today!
Once I was done at Goodwill I swung by Dunkin Donuts for some seriously-needed caffeine and came home to find the neighbor parked in our other parking spot. *snarl* I'm now inside, pants off, relaxing. TMI? I was hot! Ed and Mia are both sleeping, I'm watching DVRed What Not To Wear and in about an hour, I have to head back out for my eye doctor's appointment.
I'm tired, physically, from hauling stuff around this afternoon. I can't wait to come home after my appointment and just be lazy with my baby girl and sweetheart.
