Richard Gere is still hot

I'm watching Shall We Dance?, which confused me in the previews when it advertised a movie of the same name, same storyline, with different actors. I'm still baffled by it.

And Will's cop boyfriend from Will & Grace is in this.

Today has been an uneventful day. When I got Mia out of her crib she'd unsnapped the romper Ed put on her last night, unfastened her diaper, and soaked her crib and babydoll. Her blanket and teddy bears escaped unscathed. I wiped down the mattress, put a fresh sheet on, and tossed the baby into the laundry. I hope it washes well... otherwise, I'm buying a new baby doll.

Once I got her cleaned up and into dry clothes, I brought her downstairs for Saturday morning cartoons and cuddles on the couch with Mommy. I finished up Chasing Harry Winston, which I was rather unimpressed by, and skimmed the 'net.

By the way, Happy Birthday to hthottie and princessbunny! I hope you each have a wonderful year!

I tried to put Mia down for a nap around 11:30, but she was having none of it, wandered in to chatter at Ed, and finally went down around 12:30. I took a nap, she slept two hours, and we all lazed around for awhile. I started on Goodnight Nobody, Mia wrecked the living room. We headed out around 5 and had dinner at TGIFriday's, then went to Michael's where I bought enough frames for all of the prints I ordered from drjeff awhile back. I used a 50% off coupon for the one most expensive frame and had Ed come in behind me and get the other two frames with a 20% off coupon. Saved over $20, total!

I brought them both home, Ed put Mia to bed, and I went back out to do the grocery shopping. Ed helped me put everything away and now I have the movie on and my feet up. I still need to put clean laundry away and have Ed take the dirty stuff downstairs to get started on.

Tomorrow I get to sleep in, a fine prelude to vacuuming the living and dining rooms, and then shopping at Children's Place for Mia. And making Ed's cake, which required the purchase of $10 worth of chocolate. Eesh.

I can't believe the weekend's half over.
