Yay new year!
Despite the world conspiring against us, Jules and I walked into a party in a loft in SF at 11:57pm, quickly grabbed champagne glasses and rang in the New Year with each other. I had dinner tonight with Dr. Darling. Heh, it was strange when he was my first ex to get a PhD a few years ago and it is strange now that he has an $800,000 grant and will most likely soon be Prof. Darling. Its been a rough week emotionally. I'm a little tired of those. But tonight is "margaritas, superglue, and powertools" at my house. ;-) My roomies are both celebrating the fact that this weekend I went crazy on decorating the house and at the same time, continuing on this trend and finishing some of my projects. I get so easily amused by the things that g-mail does in the chat window. Today has been a good day. I found _two_ cool new movements. Try them!
