[ The recording comes on, and Reinette's voice can be heard, low mutterings amongst beeps and whirs from the device. ]

How does one make such a post so as to gain the most attention. Should I shout, or- No, how rude.

Are you quite serious, Miss Reinette?

I am quite serious; this is not a matter to joke about.

No, it certainly isn't a matter to joke about.

Why didn't anyone think of this before?

A good question. Perhaps no one ever imagined the solution would be so obvious.

And yet, it does make perfect sense.

Indeed. Others are raising concerns, but I hope the logic is sound enough and there is no deity trickery involved.

I suppose we'll have to wait and see--for a little while--before declaring it a full success.

And we ought to keep this discovery quiet, I think, if more of us are to use it as a means of escape.

I had indeed considered that. I have filters given to me by a friend, but I am not sure if they will guard against the deities, if that is who you meant we should keep it quiet from.

That is who I meant, yes. We may have a chance here that they had not yet realised we would take--or perhaps one that they themselves didn't even know of.

You have been here longer than I. What do you suggest I do? I would be most upset if they were to somehow revoke this chance.

Setting up screens against them may keep them out, though there's no certainty of it.

The one thing I think we can count on is that the 'deities' can't listen to us if we speak to one another in person. I've yet to hear of them catching onto things discussed privately in person.

I will do my best to change the filters on this post. I cannot assure their solidity, but I will try.

I should imagine that would be the safest way, but I thought this way would spread the news more easily.

[ooc; Hey mod!Caru, is it chill to change it to "Filtered from deities // Hackable"? I assume there are no true filters from the deities... ]

It's worth a try, I'd say.

Yes, I know, that's the constant problem. This is far easier and far quicker. Perhaps it's worth the risk.

[ooc: Alas, yes, there are no true or failsafe filters from the deities, but you can always try for it. So, yeah! That's totally chill.]

I have added the filters; I hope they work.

Perhaps they are too busy with these assignments they are giving out to yet take notice.

I hope they will--and I hope they are. This is far too good a chance to lose it now.

You should take advantage of it as soon as possible, Lord Cain.
