my life as of now. pretty damn good

I guess I write to this LJ community more when I'm completely stressed out than when I'm very happy. I happened upon some down-time, so I though I'd give you an update on my life. My roommate troubles have more than gone away. Katie had some issues of her own to work through, and after we staged a full on intervention (Jenny, Erinne and I are probably going to make an intervention flag... bright red with sparkly writing or something) and basically forced her to keep on going with her life.

It wasn't pretty, but a week later, everything is looking up. The three of us do see another intervention in the near future though. We fear a regression will happen when (not if, but when) Shane and Wendy hook up. They're doing spring break together with Alex Lions and possibly another girl, and I can see that turning into sexy times in the Dominican Republic. Hell.

And after than happens, she'll probably (once again) take it out on me, the unwitting roommate who happens to be happily in a relationship. I'm sure it will be fun. And by fun I mean miserable and just like last week. Jenny and I were trying to figure out what to do in case this actually happens sooner than we anticipate, and then she's miserable all spring break. (although that would be their problem, and not mine. WOOHOO ARIZONA!)

Anyway, I just thought I'd mention that I"m ridiculously happy right now. Classes are difficult, and I'm not sure how the end of the semester is going to turn out. However, I'm in a really good new relationship with Nathan. And when I say really good, I mean really, really good. I could list the qualities I'm looking for in a man, and then I could look at the list and it would basically describe him. It's a little scary, but wonderful at the same time.

We went snowboarding last night, and It was pretty awesome. I nailed my head on the last run, so I have a bit of a headache right now, but it's really not so bad. I'll probably take some Advil right before we leave for Hoosier Heights, and then some more right before the basketball game. And then it'll be all good.
