I hadn't expected the City to be this exciting when I showed up! Between the flags and the curses, it's been exciting. I even had a brother I never knew for a day. Sorry about that, Roy, because I really should have followed up on it, and I never thought to do it~ I hope you don't mind that I was only a temporary little sister, though I suppose you didn't realize it at the time. Well, I should have expected as much! Since then, we've had lovely visitors with pretty hair, though they didn't seem too excited about meeting any of the wonderful people I live with! Between Shahra and Asta and Mirka, I'm surprised they didn't seem happier about what they've come across, but it's obvious they were seeking to protect others.
Amazing, what strong and handsome guys they have running around here! ♥ Come to think of it, Roy wasn't bad, either~
Even more interesting is the state of affairs here, wouldn't you say? The Deities had a threat posed to them, and at the first sign of distress, everyone immediately discounted them! Shouldn't you have more faith in the people in charge? They're giving you a place to live and homes to live in, but I've already asked about equality. We're all equal, but it's the wrong kind of equality, isn't it? We're in pain in that way. They really don't look out for you. But I suppose you can't help, because all you can is doubt their power over you. And they just have to prove themselves all the time. Geez, I'd expect something better after my past experience with a wonderful ruler! Now that the mess is mostly cleaned up, we're finding ourselves where we were before, weren't we? Equals in misery, I say! It's not the best state, but we've all accepted it. At least we're all mostly able to co-exist peacefully. There are those who break rules and those who should be kept in check, but we're all equal in a way.
As to why the Deities have to prove themselves, I'm sure we all have different conclusions, but someone who really wishes to keep someone wouldn't need to do that, would they? Yet here we are, still making deals and catering to them. We have something to gain from them, just as they do for us? Ah, and think-think of the second chances! Think of what this place gives you! I guess I'm just trying to keep upbeat about this, but even I'm not sure. They still have to work on this little plan of theirs, don't you agree?
I don't really have any question to ask today, but I wanted to talk about my findings. I thought I was lucky enough to live where I was back home, but everything is truly hospitable here~ And I apologize to all of you for calling you by your names, I hope you don't mind. ♥ I know Shahra doesn't, at least, but to the rest of you! You know I wouldn't take this lightly, but I would rather not force them to make deals with the Deities for something the both of us could solve quite easily. And you wouldn't mind giving a bit of charity to me, would you?
