Now the Senate must approve its own bill, and for some reason I do not understand, they need 60 votes to do it. (Seriously, someone explain that one to me. It does not jive with what I learned in gov/econ). This is a body that was only able to pass an
anti-rape-of-government-contractors amendment by 68-30, mind, so my cynacism may yet be justified.
Still, PUBLIC OPTION! WOOT!
