I am proud to report that my thesis seems to be coming together.
For those who don't know, I am writing on the short stories of one Manuel Muñoz, a contemporary chicano author. Anyway, I have been a bit concerned (read panicked) about the whole thing. Still, as I work on my annotated bibliography, I am starting to realize that I actually have relevant research, that I am interested in tho topic, and that I am even beginning to have ideas.
Folks, this thing could actually work!
Still, I will need some way to procrastinate a project this big, and I have decided that I should at least be productive in my procrastination. With that in mind, I have decided to try my hand at creative writing. I have notes! (For those who have heard me ramble, it is that story with the eggs.)
There may also be fanfic, if the urge becomes uncontrollable.
So, as a poll (answered by comments, since I am a free member).
Should I post the story in progress to LJ?
a) Yes, put it here! I love distractions!
b) Sure. Anything to make you post more than once a month.
c) Could be interesting, but put it in a comm/other account to avoid cluttering my f-list.
d) Write all you want, but please don't inflict it on the rest of the world (and I mean that in the nicest possible way).
