Yes, I am such a knitting geek.
New yarn! I have to order pretty much anything containing natural fibers from the internet, due to lack of a good LYS (local yarn store), so I've been waiting anxiously for a week for my order to be processed and shipped. I now have some merino wool in a lovely deep purple, which shall be transformed into a sweater with a pretty lace pattern, some brightly colored yarn for a cute monkey backpack I found in the book Stitch n' Bitch, and, of course, the materials for my very own authentic Jayne hat, with extra sweetness. Pom-pom included.
