Sunday morning uniform-pjs and apron. Sunday morning breakfast-cake doughnut muffins.
We survived our weather last night. We lost cable/internet/phone a couple of times, and there was one giant crack of thunder that made our power blink hard. From the smell, it tagged the transformer station about six blocks from here; electricity and ozone is pretty distinctive. Mostly wind and rain, with minor tree damage around town, but the next county over lost roofs, etc. We were under a tornado watch until 900 pm; by 930 the sky was brilliantly clear and full of stars.
Welcome to the south! If you don't like the weather give it a day, it'll change. (The best weather forecasts ever were from NHK: "The weather today will be changeable." Believe me, that covers just about *everything*.)
Today's agenda-sew. Finish the shorts I started yesterday, possibly start a new top. After that, Lowe's; after that, garden, if it's dry enough. If not, sew some more. I can't wait for P to get his dream job and move the heck out of my sewing room!
