Okay, I'll redily admit that I am not one of the most politically-minded people out there. Hell, I rarely know what's going on in Canadian politics other than the basics, let alone in international politics. There are, however, a few things about what's going on with the US government that's puzzling me. For example

Here's the better thing...by "protecting" these unborn children, the embryoes that were supposed to be used were onyl ones that were going to be destroyed anyway. So by "protecting" them, he put them right into the dumpster faster than if they would have been used for research. Go figure, eh? ;)

Heh, the stem cell research, the only reason he veto'd it is because it's playing with life... the only thing that we wanted to further in with it was to learn how to grow a heart, a liver, a lung etc... so that when someone is on a transplant list, they don't have to wait 20 years and go through 90,000 dollars on surgerys to stay alive just to live... hospitals wouldn't be so over crowded and there would be more room for people that really need to be there

forgot also, by cutting funding, they have a little extra money to actually give to the schools that need it, I.E city schools that are suffering (that are not on the funding cut bill).
