So much eventfulness this week, so little of which I can talk about here.
Erin and I had some issues, but we're better now. That's about all I'm willing to say about that here.
The Come Again Players. LOL. Oh, LOL. There is something to be said for not being the one making the calls and simply being the one commenting upon them.
Fizzy told me about an idea which I think will be awesome. I look forward to seeing it come to fruition.
I've been working for the past three days. This I can talk about. I've done 9 hours of driving instruction. It's somehow easier than I expected it to be. Partly this is because I was given the more skilled students because I am new, but in general, I am more comfortable with it, which pleases me. I guess this makes sense, it's in the blood.
The other thing I am doing is selling for a company called Neighborhood Checkbook. It's a direct mail coupon book that is very well done. It's very well organized and easy for the consumer to use. I finally have something to sell that I can actually stand behind and be proud of. I haven't made a sale yet, but this is the kind of sales that involves a few trips back to a place to find the right person then convince them. I like this kind of sales much better than car sale because, while it takes longer to make a sale, once it is made it is much more likely that an ongoing relationship can develop which results in future sales.
And, of course, Pi-Con is in 8 days. If you have not registered yet, do so. If you still need a room, reserve it immediately. They will run out very soon if they have not already.
