The all-knowing weathermen say it will be raining soon, and there are reports about 'impending thunderstorms', unfortunately I can't see any in my vicinity. Instead, on the outdoor thermometer, I spot a temperature of 108, and online, I see 'hazardous weather warnings' (bla, bla, stay inside, drink plenty of fluids, check out for elderly neighbors... -just hope the AC won't die on us again).
My internet connection sucks big time, could this be due to the fact that Michael Jackson supposedly died this afternoon? I was never a big fan of Jackson's, but that does not mean that I want him dead. I also find it disturbing that the media can't even agree on the story, did he die or not? Well - if he went into cardiac arrest and they could not revive him, that would means he's dead. So what's the dealio? I guess he's dead. Perez Hilton posted something nasty, but that does not surprise me. Just another one who's milking the media - and the suckers.
Life is more or less ok here, but it looks like Carly, the black wildcat, injured her paw. Not too worried, though. I'll take her to the vet's tomorrow for her yearly shots, and then we can see what the paw-thing is all about. Not that I like this. If it means I'll have to administer medication I'll be in limbo. That girl really is wild.
Was watching "Mystic River" with Sean Penn last night. Still a cool film.
EDIT: so now they say Jackson is dead:
