I'd like to start this off by saying in all seriousness Your Mileage May Vary because seriously my opinion is mine and mine alone and as much as I'd love to shove it down peoples throats and have them choke on it, thats not very nice. So I don't expect everyone to agree, like or even want to hear it but I'm gonna say it cause really it needs saying ( Read more... )

Its semi-wishful thinking on my part. I don't think its been officially said if the series is rapping up or not but give the fact that they now have an official bad guy it feel more likely. Its sort of like everything - from Circus of the Damned - forward has been culminating towards this event. Because in this book they brought back up Earthmover, the whole thing with the wereTigers which was mentioned I think in Lunatic Cafe when Anita first meet Christine and then fact that again in this book they're talking about setting up an American version of the council. Personally I just think that things are happening in a way were after all these things are resolved that theres nothing left so it'd be an ending. Now who knows LKH could just keep on trucking. I feel that, that knock down drag out fight with Mommy Dearest is going to happen and there should be some aftermath stuff and then thats it.

LOL It was fun pointing them out because they were all kinda important in some way or another. Plus they weren't that bad. Though I've read steamier sex bits in fanfiction thats a personal thing not a book/writer thing.

I swear I think she honest to god doesn't have a real editor. I feel like she had one, they became friends and now her editor won't do their job and tell her when stuff sucks. I feel like there was a meme of a bunch of 1 to 2 line random anonymous facts/tidbits about writers and the one that was about LKH was because she was doing so well her publisher decided she didn't need an editor anymore. But I could be wrong. I swear she can't remember how old anyone is. Because in this book she gets/changes how old Valentine is from both the age of her as a vampire (to being like 1000) and the age of her being being (from like 3 to 5) some little thing like that that I noticed because I like Valentine. By my math I think like 5/6 years had based since the first book and in this book Anita notes that'd it been 6 years since she'd met Richard so but at the same time I know LKH like drags her years/months on and on but at the same time smushes the time frame of whats happening in the book down to days.

Its fine, it was nothing. I always forget that my journal is flocked until someone points it out.
