So I heard back from WashU... didn't get the scholarship there I wanted. Made for kind of a rough night. I don't know how hopeful I still am... I don't see how I'm ever going to have the money to go there. People think that you just have to be smart, but you don't, you have to be smart and rich. Wait and see, wait and see. I hate the wait and see

Aww...I hear ya. My brother's going through this now, and he's only heard back from two or three schools out of 6 or something, and won't hear anything back about finances till April anyway.

And even if they give you a nice financial aid package for the first year, that's no guarantee for the following years. My college screwed me over this, when I have more expenses and the cost of living is higher, just because my dad got a new job and had to cash out his stocks from the old one. So I've got more expenses, less scholarship money, and worse loans.
