BDUBS party
Dan got home from Italy yesterday so a bunch of us went out to lunch to hear about the trip (Dan loved Italy - he said he'd rather live there than here...). I'm not exactly sure what BDUBS stands for... Wild Buffalo Wings or something. Anyhow, it was quite yummy and I don't know if any of you have ever eaten there before but basically you order so many wings and what kind of sauce you want and apparently it's tradition (I'm not sure who started it) that everyone who goes has to eat one of the blazing wings. At first, it really wasn't that bad (kinda gross, though), but then the spice catches up and it was really hot. "It screws with your body" is the way Stacy put it... it made my nose run, some people were getting shivers, and basically hurt your mouth and lips. But it was fun anyway. And Dan came up with an idea that a group of us should go backpacking across Europe next summer, which would be really fun. I'd love to go, but it's going to depend a lot on the cost (and, of course, whether my parents would let me go, but I think they would - and I will be 18), and how early we'd have to make plane reservations at that sort of thing - because if it's later, I can wait and see what kind of scholarship money I get for college...
