kitchen remodel!!

The store we had planned on buying our kitchen cabinets from had this huge sale for 50% off the normal price a couple weeks ago - well, still going on actually- and so I splurged and bought most of our new cabinets. Turns out we only have 10 cabinets in our kitchen. So tiny! Anyway, the cabinets come with "assemble needed" and arrived in flat boxes

I love hearing about all your home projects - I can't wait to have a home of my own and I'm living vicariously through all your awesome projects and yard work. I say totally peel up that laminate and finish the hardwood - it'll look so nice! Our apartment has the original 1920s hardwood, and while I have to be super careful with it and it's kind of creaky and warped in certain places, it has so much charm.
