It's about time for an update!

Yeah. A lot happened since that last post and I was just really too lazy to write another one until now. More entries shall follow this one, as soon as I get around to it. As I previously mentioned, a lot did happen and being the thorough writer that I am, it will take me a long time to write all about it, so I will bring you the story in segments. Let me first start off with this: I did actually get to go to the Tokio Hotel concert. You heard me. I saw them in saw their manly meatcake glory live on stage. I really did. And do you know how I got there? Alex took me. He drove an hour to McDaniel, picked me up, and drove three to four hours to New York City. We got there early, so we secured ourselves a spot in the line to the entrance of the venue and then went out to dinner. Really convenient, since there was a world food restaurant right next to the venue. He had a delicious hamburger and I had delicious calamari. It was all very delicious, except the restaurant kept playing the same five Elvis Presley songs over and over again. We finished up and then waited in line for an hour or two. Then we got inside the venue and had to wait an hour before the band actually came out. I wanted to get as close to the stage as possible, but Alex wanted to stay where he was. Tall people kept getting in front of me, so when the concert finally started, I couldn't see anything. I told him angrily that this was why I had wanted to get so close to the stage. The band started to play. I stood on my tiptoes and held his hand tightly. I tried to yank him closer to the stage, but he would not budge. He gave me the okay to venture out on my own, so I did. The further forward I moved, the harder it was to see because people kept waving their hands in the air and holding up cameras. My eardrums felt like they were gonna be blown out with all the high pitched screaming. Everyone was packed so closely together and I felt like I did back at the beach when I was trying not to drown, except I could breathe this time. But it was wonderful. I wish I had payed more attention to the concert instead of trying to get into the front row the whole time. I would have enjoyed it better, but oh well. I quietly sang along with them. I had a hard time seeing Gustav since he was playing his drums all the way in the back, so I focused mostly on Georg instead. I melted when I noticed him doing backup vocals. For some reason, that was just so hot. Now I have two favourite band members. When the concert was over, I found Alex pretty quickly. He announced that he was never washing his face again because Bill had splashed everyone with water from a bottle and Alex had gotten spritzed even though he was so far back in the venue. Unfortunately for me, Alex has a little crush on Bill. >__> A picture he took at the concert of Bill and Tom is currently the background on his cell phone instead of the usual picture of us. Alex even said he wanted to spend hours on his hair just like Bill! Argh! However, I have nothing to worry about. I do have a vagina, after all. Bill does not. We started our long trip back to McDaniel right after the concert ended, even though I wanted to stay outside and wait for the band to come out. However, Alex had been feeling sick for the past few days so I wanted to let him get some rest. Being the naturally stupid person that I am, I didn't print out directions back to McDaniel. After a few minutes of driving around New York City and panicking, I called Alicia and made her go on MapQuest and then relay to me what she found. Alex and I got back at 2 am. I called Alicia to let me in because I thought I had forgotten my keys. She was right pissed, especially since they were in my purse the whole time. Then, bedtime occurred. For the first time in what seemed like forever, even though it was only two months, I slept beside Alex again and we dreamed of Tokio Hotel (not really!). They are coming back some day and when they do, I will be there with Alex again by my side.

EDIT: It's odd, because just after writing this, I looked on the website and found out that TOKIO HOTEL IS PLAYING AT THE 9:30 CLUB IN WASHINGTON D.C. ON MAY FIRST 2008!!!!!! AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH THE FREAKIN' 9:30 CLUB HOLY SHIT!!!!! I'VE TOTALLY BEEN THERE BEFORE!!!!! ABBY, PATRICIA, MELISSA AND I MUST ATTEND AT ONCE!!!!!
