Fic Rec: Unseen
Slowly starting to catch up on fic, and doing it rather haphazardly. For the most part I've been more drawn to read DH-fixes, missing scenes, and follow-ups before the umpty-million WIP update alerts currently sitting in my in-box. So it makes little sense that I've read this one already, but I just had to see what of DH, if anything, subvers would include in the epilogue for this fic. Go see for yourself. ;-)

Summary: Severus Snape has one friend at Hogwarts he can count on: Lily Evans. Lily spends summers at home with her beloved sister, Petunia, and in their twelfth summer, the two girls admit the remote, secretive Severus to their private world. Sadly, the older one grows, the more difficult life becomes. What changes will come when other boys begin to come around Lily in her summer hols - and what dangers can come of the dark, violent emotions that burn within a young wizard torn apart by the complications of the ever-darkening world in which he lives?
Canon note: This was mostly written and posted before DH came out, so obviously it isn't DH-compliant. However, if you liked the idea of Snily backstory and were disappointed by the rather shallow treatment it got in canon, you'll love this.
