OK, recovering from setback
914 words deleted, 775 words so far replacing them. Now if I can just get somewhere in the vicinity of an ending, that'd be great. Sooner rather than later so I'm not sending the poor thing off to be beta'd like the day before the deadline.

It's gotta be close. The end is in sight. I just can't seem to shove them in its direction. I'm not sure if I'm more annoyed with Hermione, who just won't tell me wtf is going on in her head but will at least give me some clue what she's up to in general terms, or Severus, who is pitching a fit and refusing to cooperate at all.
Pointing them both at the outline is turning out to be an exercise in futility. Why go along with it up to this point if they're going to pull this nonsense now, I ask you?
