OK, it's surgery day
Day surgery not requiring general anesthesia, but still ... surgery. By now the folks should be up to the hospital and getting ready. I'm a wreck. Let's try some more coffee and see if that helps. :-/
Meanwhile, I try to distract myself online, and planning dinner. Patsfan and I are both working Saturday, so we're doing our Valentine's Day tonight. I decided to try one of the "romantic menus" from my diet book: broiled salmon with olive salsa, wild rice and mushrooms for the starch, and steamed veggies to round it out. I ought to be working on my shopping list. I mean, it's nearly 11am and I'm still in my pajamas at the computer. Not a promising start to the day.
But I can't help it. I'm worried. It's what I do.
