Fish Tales
Got the tank set back up last night. It's all nice and disinfected, and conditioned, and having its 48 hrs of run-time before aquiring its new occupant. Who shall be a red male betta named Prothvar. I plan to pick him up tomorrow afternoon and do a nice slooooow transition into the tank.
Now, for those who are Anne Bishop fans, that reference will be kind of obvious, though why go with such a minor character? Well, I don't know. As soon as I got that idea, I thought, no, I should name him Lucivar, and later when I add a second tank (as you can put these triangular gallon tanks next to each other and create something square-ish), get a blue-black fellow and name him Daemon. Or, hey, go all out, get a third, who would need to be really way more black, name him Saetan, and then in get a fourth tank, put it in the middle somehow, to house a female named Jaenelle, right?
But no, I keep coming back to Prothvar. And so he shall be called Prothvar, and he shall be mine. And he shall be my Prothvar. I guess if I do get another tank and another blue down the road, he'll probably be Andulvar.
Yeah, mixing Black Jewels allusions with Finding Nemo allusions. Got to be a symptom of some kind of insanity.
