The crew of Serenity was enjoying one of their favorite forms of entertainment.
“We had a discussion.” Mal’s placated.
“Fight!” Inara corrected him quietly, without looking up.
“We had a disagreement.” he tried again, unsuccessfully.
“Fight!” she insisted.
“We had an argument!” Mal’s voice was now starting to sound angry.
“Fight!” she was implacable
He gave up. “Fine, woman, we had a fight! Are you happy now?”
Mal stomped off as Inara smiled knowingly at those around her, and followed him. She didn’t know when he would learn if they hadn’t had a fight, how could they possibly make up?
