"I don't wanna work, I just wanna bang on the drums all day..."

I'm the worst LJ'er on earth. Seriously.

Anyway, since last time we talked...

Friday, February 25 - Steve & I went to the Ice Cats game which was so much fun. The Ice Cats lost, but I had a lot of fun yelling and cheering and chanting with the little kids around us. Good times. We were behind one of the goals which was kind of fun.

The rest of that weekend was pretty boring I think.

Monday, February 28 - Had an interview with Central Tree Middle School in Rutland. They need a 7th grade English teacher asap and they called me to come in and talk to them. So I called in for a half day at work and went down to interview with them. As of yet, I haven't heard back, so I'm going to give them a call today and see what's up. I would REALLY love a teaching job right now. Please.

Steve was up all Sunday night and Monday night vomiting. I got no sleep for 2 days straight. Not fun. But at least I didn't get whatever ailment he was suffering from.

Tuesday, March 1 - Boring day at work and then Cassie & I went out on a date. (Not really, but if I were still dating, this would be a good night.) We went to Da Lat for Vietnamese food and even though it looked really sketchy, the food was wicked yummy. I liked Cassie’s crunchy noodles. Yum. Then we went to Café Dolce which we really didn’t need. The server there was AWFUL and Cassie left her a $1 tip. Then I didn’t feel like going home to listen to Steve throw up some more so we went back to her place and watched One Tree Hill, which I had never seen before, but now I might be hooked.

Friday, March 4 - abyss327 Cassie stayed over because Assumption shut down for Spring Break and she was going to Amherst on Saturday and didn't want to drive all the way home to Providence and then all the way to Amherst when she could just sleep on my couch. This time I turned the heat on for her so she didn’t freeze in her sleep. Watched Shaun of the Dead and made apple crisp from a box. Good Stuff.

Saturday, March 5 - Steve & I headed down to Providence to visit with my parents for a while and go out to Dave & Busters with Josh Brown & Sara. Sara asked me to be a bridesmaid in her & Josh's wedding (April 29th 2006) and I got a little weepy about it. I'm so excited for them! Got nicely buzzed, got home, slept on a really shitty air mattress and got no sleep at all because it had a leak and by 3 am we were sleeping on the floor. Great.

Sunday we helped out at my Memere & Pepere's house as my mom & uncles get ready to sell the place. Steve & I cleaned out the 3rd floor of all the boxes/other crap that was up there. Steve did a lot more work then I did because I was wearing boots and the stairs from the 3rd floor down are really really steep and scary. So I boxed stuff and pushed the boxes to the stairs and he shuttled them down.

Then we got home to Shrewsbury, took one look at our 1/2 empty, completely messy apartment and decided a nap was the only thing we could do. And so we did.

Tonight is dinner with Steve’s parents and a new 24 . Wicked fun :o) Or, at least, ½ fun and some good food.
