So I bought Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know", the Garden State Soundtrack and Damien Rice's "O" CD (because I want that song from the movie "Closer". I'm absolutely going to be listening to it on repeat...over and over again...now that I think about it, I probably should have just bought the Closer soundtrack..I wonder what else is on that...*mental note to go check Amazon*)
ANYWAY.
This week has been pretty normal. Started the Self Challenge to lose 10 pounds before Nate's wedding on April 2nd. Or at least tone up. Nate is a kid that Steve went to college with and I'm scared that if we go to this wedding, we'll see one of Steve's ex's and I'll be "the tubby girl that Steve's dating now"
So I've done cardio workouts Mon, Tues, Wed & I'm going tonight. And then Mon & Wednesday I did a strength training program and Tuesday & Thursday I'm doing 8 minute abs because that's the area I'm most concerned about. The weekends I want to get in at least 1 cardio workout and 1 strength workout.
Enough about my OCD. I told Steve why I was going to the gym every night and he laughed. He says that even if there happens to be an ex girlfriend there, which he highly doubts, I would look better then any of them and he loves me and all that happy stuff. Which made me feel a little better. However, I'm still working out 6 days a week until then.
Mom & Cassie helped move stuff into the apartment last weekend which was awesome. Cassie devised new ways to get a chair and a box 500 feet down to the car using only one hand, I was impressed. Then we grabbed dinner at Tatnuck Booksellers and Cassie & I met up with AnneMarie & Steph at Tammany.
The rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful and included a trip to Christmas Tree Shops w/ Cassie and meeting Ryan & Whitney at Coldstone Creamery for the best ice cream ever.
Friday, Steve & I have tickets to the Icecats game at the DCU center, which will be fun and then we'll probably move some more stuff on Saturday and maybe install new locks. Nothing too exciting.
*sigh* I can't wait to move.
