It's been a long strange couple of days!

I've been blessed and lucky and am in the midst of a wonderful weekend.

Friday night, Tina, Audrey and I saw X at Harlowe's in Sacramento. They were wonderful!! They look great, they sound great and it was amazing. If you ever get the chance to go, you simply must. Freakin' legends.

Yesterday, I dragged my ass outta bed and went to work, left work, came home, and left with Nadia and Cici to make our way into Berkeley to see Henry Rollins do his thing at Zellarbach Auditorium on the UC campus. We had dinner at the great little place on University called Crepes a Go Go. Great food, great conversation, and much fun was had.

We wandered to the campus and hung out until doors opened, I bought a shirt. Once we got settled, and the lights went down, we were all entranced, moved, in stitches and inspired. It's really hard to describe. I wish I could explain how amazing he is, but there's really no explanation. So let's just say that if you've never seen him, you must. He is brilliant, inspiring, and a reality check outside of our tucked in little worlds.

Tonight, is Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds in San Francisco. The show we weren't able to get tickets to. My dear friend Jacob in Toronto has some connections and sent me two tickets out of the goodness of his heart. I am truly blessed. So thank you to the Universe for reminding me that THIS IS LIFE. To go out and get inspired and moved and amazed. I am thrilled and humbled by this experience, and I'm sure I'll do another write up tomorrow.
