(no subject)
ok..so not this thursday past..but the thursday before that...i went to bally's at 6 pm..worked out..i was walking INTO THE PARKING LOT..at exactly 7:10 pm.... i know this because i was looking at my cell phone and was going to call my dad about going over to the parents house to check on my potted plants ( i can't have them in my yard..the doggies eat them) ...
anyways...as i was walking towards where i parked a car was pulling out and i thought gee..that looks a lot like my car...
the reality slowly dawned on me and i realized it WAS my car... and tried to block it with my body from getting to the exit..
some sick motherfucker tried to run me down with my own goddamn car while stealing it..he gunned the engine and aimed right for me..then turned left onto the service drive headed from old 8 mile to vernier.
now the police station is right off that exit..about 2 miles down. cell phone in hand i called the police...
there are a few side streets off that service drive..but mostly it's just a straight shot to the freeway. THEY WOULD NOT PUT SOMEONE ON THE SERVICE DRIVE TO GRAB THE GUY...the refused to do anything til they sent an officer over to bally's to verify my personal information and that the car had been stolen.
so....in essence..my car is gone. i have collision on it and no fault..not comprehensive... so um.....i'm fucked..i'm so fucked i can't put fucked into words.
i need help...if ANYONE HAS FRIENDS IN AN AREA OF LAW ENFORCEMENT..... i mean anyone.... please....please please please tell them to look out for a 2002 silver intrepid SE..... liscense plate SBE 839. it has a firefighter sticker in the lower left hand corner of the back window. it has a little bit of scraping on both passenger side doors. it has a sun room. it has GLOW IN THE DARK PAINT spilled on the floor mat and the floor in the back seat..so if a cop pulls over an intrepid with glow in the dark paint spilled in the back....it's mine.
also... they added a charge of FELONIOUS ASSAULT for trying to run me down. if i remember right detroit pays up to anyone who helps them find a felon. like 5k or something....so while you're in traffic..at meijer's...or running errands..if you guys could just keep your eyes open....i'm hoping for a miracle. it never hurts to ask.....
anyways yeah if you know law enforecment and/or are willing to keep your eyes open pleeease respond here just so i know how the community organization is going along..and if you have any friends who drive for a living..deliver stuff...are on the road a lot..could you please pass this on...you never know...
