Tim is out of town for a couple of days and I am taking full advantage of that by watching chick flicks!
Smart People - with Sarah Jessica Parker and Dennis Quaid.
I always liked Dennis Quaid though not exactly sure why. Maybe because he usually plays the bad boys or the slightly broken boys, which as most of you know is my personal downfall when it comes to men.
The movie itself isn't very good. A couple of interesting moments, especially when I keep thinking of SJP from Sex and the City trying to play a rather serious doctor. Oh, and for an added bonus Ellen Page (from Juno fame) as a young republican. The whole thing just didn't click for me though.
My First Mister - staring a very lovely Leelee Sobieski. Really, she is absolutely stunning.
I saw this movie quite a few years ago and enjoyed it. So years later it finally came up to the top of my netflix (which is currently holding at 350 in the queue, and 26 in the saved queue). I again found it to be engaging and quite touching. I have much hope to see Miss Lobieski in more films where I can bask once again on her beauty (and hopefully something better than Eyes Wide Shut where I also saw her act. She was good, the movie was godawful)
