Yeah I just had to do two today... I absolutely love hugs (part of the arm obsession), and someday I will get a hug from the dimpled boy. ;) I am continually realizing how much I have a crush on him. I about lit up when I saw the entire team, coaches and all, in the cafeteria for breakfast this morning! And no, I did not know they would be there, that was a coincidence!
The game was AWESOME... we won :) it was really exciting... I had a great view most of the time, as long as the guys were sitting down. And the second half, I stood at the Northwood bench (we had so many people we rotated) and had a great view of Steve (drum major Steve) doing his band thing.
After the game, I went to Midland to visit with some aunts, uncles, cousins, and my grandparents. It was great, they fed me, and I'm going to go stay with them the Saturday after Thanksgiving because I have to be up here for a game Saturday and the halls don't open until noon on Sunday. I'm so excited I get to go to their church again! It's so great, I wish I could have been there today though with my family and the dedication to and sermon about my great grandpa. That's where the hugs (part one) come in. I love the hugs I get when I see my family. They just make me feel so safe and loved.
When I got back to Mt. P, I called Robyn to wish her happy birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBYN!!!) and she invited me to watch Ray, which started 10 minutes from when I called. So I hustled over there and we watched the movie... it was amazing, I never knew a lot of that stuff about Ray Charles. He is a brilliant man, who made some stupid decisions, but pulled through in the end and ended up absolutely amazing. I can't even imagine being blind. Especially when you could once see. There's gotta be a huge difference being born blind and just becoming blind... Well after the movie came hugs part two. James was there and he gives great hugs. It was only my like third time ever being around the dude, and I'm already a regular on the hugging cycle of him. Oh, and I gave Katie a big huge "i missed you" hug when i got into the theater, and Robyn a big "Happy Birthday" hug.
The only way the day could have been more complete hug-wise is if I got a basketball player hug... I will get one, it's on the way... I'm convinced I'd get a butt-tap one of these days too, but this team doesn't butt-tap as often as most guys teams I've been around. Well one day reality will come, and hopefully that will include a hug, and finding out he doesn't have a girlfriend. I know it's not realistic to think I will be dating him anytime soon (EVER), but he could be a great friend and that's what I need.
