Why Bones? Why?
Ok I was beginning to actually like FOX again with TV shows, which I know is stupid considering they took off so many of my favorite shows and have no idea how to do pairings in them... but I let myself get attached to the shows Bones and HOUSE. Bones is just such an awesome, awesome show. Lots of gooey dead bodies, cute and scruffy Zack, Conspiracy Hodgins and cold, almost heartless and humanless Dr. "Bones" Brennan. The characters just rock and all... now they have been playing up Booth and Bones a lot, and I mean a lot, and what do they do...spoilers ahead for the second season and latest episode of HOUSE
they decide to take booth out on medical leave and bring in another guy, an idiotic blonde who askes her out like the minute they meet. come on! booth just got done saying him and bones couldn't be together because it was dangerous and her new partner can ask her out? *glares at FOX* not only that they blow up Zack and even worse they give him a haircut... now he isn't all scruffy and adorable. Stupid requirements for jobs once you get your PHD.
and really this latest episode started out amazing! a serial killer escaping prison and fucking with the bones team. and what happens one little mistake which he is too smart to actually make gets him killed. he was so cool. he cut off this chick's head and put this powder in it to make the person working on it sick to the point of dying. then screwing with booth's kid and leaving a clue on a napkin that takes them /forever/ to actually figure out (zack does of course *hugs him*). and what happens it all goes to hell and things come much to easy to the team... evil evil evil fox. they could have dragged this into an arc, but did they NO! they chose to kill their coolest killer by letting him fall off the damn balcony.
that is not bad as the random episode of house with no chase or foreman to speak of and trying to humanize house. come on he was cool as a bastard for no reason, he doesn't need a reason to be the way he is. besides he had enough of one when you found out he was betrayed and stacey had them cut into his leg. and they could have used a less cliche reason for making him an ass, that would have been cool, but they didn't. come on, child abuse. please, every show uses that as a reason for their character to be an ass. and having him admit it to a crazy patient and not his firends also not cool. and sadly house seems to have forgiven wilson for his wrongdoings rather quickly... again fox bad move! the viewers are still kinda pissed off at wilson even though they can understand some of the reasoning behind his decision to screw over his best friend.
so boo FOX. no more watching of you methinks. maybe it is a better idea just ot live in fandom world for shows on that network, the writers are smarter and much better.
