Indiana Jones #4
Three words... RUBE GOLDBERG MACHINE. O_O;;
The stunts were flashy and exciting, yes, but... maybe I'm missing the Indiana Jones charm or something, but everything was WAY TOO LAUGHABLY PERFECT. All the stunts were perfectly set up so that Indiana Jones can get up and walk away without a scratch and get out of a seemingly impossible situation with no sweat. There wasn't that... impromptu-ness that I like so much from other films like Jackie Chan's or something. All in all, a flashy and ridiculous movie. RIDICULOUS, in both good and bad ways. As in, you kind of have to see the last half hour to know how ridiculous it is. I predicted a part of the end as a joke, but it turned out to be true and it just boggled my mind. The CG was pretty good though, if not SLIGHTLY overdone because you could tell the actors weren't in a ton of the scenes where all the shit was happening. XD
The acting... Meh. Not bad. Cate Blanchett is rather beautiful, which is strange because she looks SO different from what she actually looks like. She's got these gorgeous eyes I haven't really noticed until this movie. Oo; Shia was amusing and rather hot, too. XD
Note: I have seen most of the other Indiana Jones movies, but only when I was little. I suggest going to rewatch them before seeing this one, because there was a lot of things that the other audience members got that were references to the older movies that I simply had no idea wtf was going on. My friend had to explain a lot of them to me. ^^;
