Today, I hallucinated in Evolution class and starting dreaming with my eyes open. No joke. It wasn't nodding off, it wasn't actually sleeping, it was a bizarre intermediate where my hand was just writing even though my brain totally shut down. My notes started turning into a bizarre mix of what I was hearing (viruses, kingdoms, etc.) and what I've been worrying about (resumes, jobs, etc). Direct quote from my notes today: "smaller resume virus usually attacks current development". Wtf.
Also, I spoke to the C.I.A. recruiters today for shits and giggles. :D
I can read French and speak two versions of Mandarin, but I don't know if that's nearly good enough for them. If not, I'll just go talk with the FBI recruiters tomorrow. At the very least, I'm getting awesome free stuff. Merck has the most badass water bottle I've ever seen.
I desperately want to work for L'Oreal if the thing with Merck doesn't pull through because their ONE U.S. site is actually only 30 minutes from my house back in NJ, buuuuuuut they're not hiring full-time bachelors and will only take an intern who is enrolled in a Masters program. X___x; Boo.
The good news is that I spoke with the Merck representatives and they all got hired through the same program I went through. They told me to ignore the Sept. date that was emailed to me about getting info back from the interview because they were hired in late October. (With the merger going on, they said they wouldn't be surprised if it took longer for them to get back to me. Damn.)
Holy cow, I haven't eaten all day and I have a massive blister from my heels. UGH.
