Last Day of 2008
Holy cow on a bicycle, how the hell did this year end already? @_@ I remember 2008's New Years really well and I was drinking champagne with my family at someone's house. On the other hand, I don't think we're really celebrating New Years tonight unless you count watching the ball drop at Times Square in NYC on TV. I... think.
Wish I had something more interesting to say. Waaaay too much happened this year for me to make a good judgement of it. I don't really remember the first half, but the Olympics were awesome. Then... I think everything went downhill from there. The world economy crashing, the Mumbia attacks, Isreal bombing Gaza,all the fighting in Africa (is it just me, or is there more fighting there than normal?) and all the other shit that's been going on. =___=;; I don't think I want to think back on this year in the future.
Anyhoo, haven't really done much in the last few days except lose a very important key (must go hunt for it now), done some GRE practice questions and read some Star Wars fanfics. Interesting how I'd start 2009 relapsing into one of my oldest fandoms. Hmm...
Ah yes, everyone else has New Years resolutions. I really only have two: I need to stay in shape and stop being so anal about people (boys specifically). D: My Mom's kind of taught me into this whole "stop being so anal about the idea of a relationship and just see where it goes" attitude. Let's hope I can balance all that with schoolwork. X_x;;
