Exploring Unfamiliar States of Existence: Reality
Task 1: Perform Arcane Cleansing Ritual -- Accomplished (i.e. the toilet is clean)
I picked up a copy of Paxson's Trance-Portation recently, based on a couple experiences that lead me to believe that said book contains information that rates as highly pertinent to my spiritual life. Seems I was right, being as parts of the first chapter basically reiterated the content of the revelation I had earlier this month.
Ordinary material reality is foreign enough -- at least to me, and it seems also to other people. Yet, it constitutes something of a precursor to dealing with any other more complicated subjects. What's the point of studying the basis of myth if I'm distracted by that from the research I haven't done yet, because I have a pile of mundane issues that are vexing me yet where I lack a plan to deal with them?
Not much, I'm thinking. Hence the anoiting of my bathroom with Scrubbing Bubbles.
