teaching conference!
OMG I am SUCH a teacher!!! (and a cute one at that!)
I went to my very first teaching conference today in cromwell and at first, i was upset about the distance that my teacher was expecting us to drive. Oh yeah, and it was really wierd because it made me feel like such an adult... but then i got there, and i felt at home! Like i seriously fit in! I knew that I was surrounded by people who had the same interests and it was great to look at and buy stuff for my future classroom. Hopefully I can even use some of hte stuff for student teaching next semester. It was definitely a good day after the terrible night I had yesterday. I bought a cup shaped pencil holder that says "teachers have class" as well as a tote bag that has an apple on it and says "i will not yell in class. i will not throw things in class. i will not get mad and hit anyone in class. i will not have a temper tantrum, and i will always be good because i am the teacher, i am the teacher, i am the teacher..."
And now, I am going to pack my stuff and get ready to hit up springfield with my hot chicitas!!! I'm sooo excited! and the fact that the bar is named th salty dog is just soo amusing to me! i think it is the funniest name ever!
