So... Social Yay?
One of my friends told me I need to post more on lj and be more social so people get to know me/my life. I admit, I've kind of been failing lately so... I'll start this meme that's been going around and see if that maybe helps me be a bit more social.
So, Heather presents~ The 100 Facts Meme (which I got from rukawagf )
1) By the end of college, I will have attended Catholic school for the entirety of my formal education thus far. That'll be about 20 years, since even the preschool I attended was run by a group of nuns. It's not necessarily something I would say makes me better or anything, it just... helps with background I guess? I was in a very sheltered environment until high school, (and on urban dictionary my high school is considered the public school of private schools). But I have been brought up on religion classes and the like, and daily prayer, so just something to know I guess.
2) I'm a Preacher's Kid. Yup, I figure this is another thing to know about me XD. My dad's a permanent deacon in the Catholic Church, which is like... the level below priest but their role is a little different. He was ordained when I was a freshman in high school, but he was in classes five years before that. So... I tend to have a bit more in depth knowledge of really weird and random workings of the Catholic Church. Its not to say I'm super religious or hard-nosed about faith practices, my family in general is very open. But I tend to defend the Catholic church with really bizarre stuff, and now you know how I know it. >< I went through class too basically.
3) My first anime was Yu-Gi-Oh! Yes, it was the crappy 4kids version, and yes, I DID watch Pokémon, but this was the first anime that I watched acknowledging it was anime. My friend made me watch it (and by made I mean literally, MADE. I was not allowed to go to the bathroom even during commericals the first episode). It was an obsession for about three-four years, and I knew a lot about it, even the Japanese version and season 0 I refused to watch >< My bird's name is even Noah after the character and I still freak out when I see Yu-Gi-Oh! cosplayers at cons. But... yeah, those weregood times even if I look back now and laugh at how I acted watching it. I mean, my favorite character was Mokuba, and that got me a lotta funny looks lol.
4) I'm an INFJ. This is my Myers-Briggs type, and I don't want to go into details here about what it means. If you want more, ask or look it up lol. But I would say it describes me pretty well and almost to a 't'. What does this mean? Well... I have the same personality type as Hitler. But also Martin Luther King, Jr. and stuff. We're just people who tend to stick to our guns when we have a passion about an idea, good or bad. I think it'll help explain me a lot more and my interactions with people.
5) I'm an aspiring cosplayer. I mean, I've cosplayed a few characters, but the only one I've done that required major work was Hibiya, Izaya's Character song version from Durarara!! (which I still need to post pictures of ><). And that was a disaster that ended up needing my mom and ruka to help pull me through, as well as almost two all nighters the week before the con. I want to learn more, and I hope to get better at cosplaying, as well as learning more tips and tricks of the trade and widening out my repetoire. I am steadily learning how to sew, and both ruka and my mom were helpful in this <3333 (I owe them both pieces of my soul). My next hopeful cosplay: Tsugaru (>< Which doesn't seem TOO hard, but the yukata -shudders-). So hopefully you'll see more cosplay stuff from me in the future~
