Fed Up.
I am quite seriously about 2 strikes away from quitting this job... I am sick of getting shafted over and over again, I really am. This new co-worker of mine, the one that was hired to replace me when I left before, is just getting on my nerves every day, to the point where when he called in sick today, I cheered. :P I can't make it to anything going on this summer because of my work schedule, and there is no hope for me to get promoted to a different job (courtesy driver or CSR) because Nathan needs me as a hiker! It is so very frustrating to have nowhere to go in this frikkin company.... Besides, I have been there nearly 3 years now, I make $11.09/hr instead of the minimum wage of $8.00 (or is it $8.60?) so there is not much drop in pay if I were to find another job. Pizza delivery, perhaps? Heck, with the tips, I could be making MORE than I am now!
Buuuut, I dunno. I know my co-workers, I get along with most of them. ALmost all. Just that one really pisses me off... I know my job. It is secure, steady, reliable. And I am not sure even getting into a new job would help me much, since I would still be at the bottom of the list if I got a new job.
