(no subject)
Well, I'm slowly but gradually recovering from my cold. Week two has been characterized by mostly just a persisting cough; I'm still producing phlegm, but it is now generally colorless (as opposed to the tan/beige phlegm of week 1). Bleh.
In game:
Sat/Sun: I didn't do much last weekend... was just mostly vegging out due to the cold. I mostly just hopped around doing Campaign Battles on DNC. I also joined a short Level Sync party. I managed to ding level 67. Unfortunately, I didn't do enough to medal up in Campaign, but at least I did enough to maintain my current medal.
Monday: We had another Limbus run with TP. Unfortunately, another LS beat us to the punch, and we were delayed in our entry by at least an hour. We also had a record turnout this time, enough to split into two groups. We eventually entered and completed our farming, but due to the delay, it was too late afterwards for my little group (me, Francis, Pro, Dasani, Xedrik, Katrel) to try for Nyzul. :( We also didn't get any ABCs; the LS leadership decided to hold them and combine the distribution with the next Limbus run (which should be tonight, Friday). I guess the reasoning was because we had two different groups, but they want everyone in attendance to get an equal share.
Tuesday: I helped Francis with Dark Spark for his WHM AF. Then I switched to COR to do the ENM Pulling The Strings again. I actually lost this time, which really depressed me. The damn moblin rolled some really lucky rolls for his puppet; one of them was a full HP restore. >.< I also forgot to bring water crystals, so I couldn't craft any pear au'laits for myself (I've made it a habit of carrying around the actual pears in my satchel). I did have some Hi-Potions and Selbina Milks, but at one point, the moblin rolled his puppet 100+ instant TP, and the puppet Slug Shot'd me for almost 300 damage, just enough to kill me. It was disappointing because my previous win made the fight seem so easy. Now I'm 2/3 on wins, but still no COR bullets.
Wednesday: Sky run with TP. I joined the party for Diorite farming for an hour or so, but no luck on drops. Then the LS gathered together for 2 Genbu and 1 Seiryu. Francis wound up with a Genbu's Shield (I'm jealous!) and I got a Wyrmal feet abjuration on rot.
Thursday: Dynamis - Bastok with TP. Overall the LS did great, no wipes. AF drops were largely a disappointment... for most. We got 1 DNC, 1 BRD, 1 THF, 1 PLD, 1 RDM (iirc). I had DNC as my secondary lot, and nobody had it listed as primary lot, so I automatically won the piece! Yay... now I just need to finish leveling the job. ^^; Then, BRD hands dropped, and since nobody had it as primary OR secondary, it went to free lot. I won, mostly because the only other person who thought of lotting decided to voluntarily pass (he doesn't have BRD75). Later on, RDM hands dropped, but I couldn't lot since I already won DNC (I had RDM listed as primary). Still, I'm happy with what I got. Even though the BRD hands are useless (the regular BRD AF hands outshines the relic) the DNC piece looks useful.
Afterwards, Dasani, Pro, Francis, and I went to do ENM Antlion. We won, as usual, but got nothing but a crappy Viridian. Oh well, we can't be lucky every time.
