(no subject)
Monday night I joined another social LS, Thunderdownunder, with Xedrik. I joined them for ZM6 and ZM8 (both short, easy, and fun fights).
Last night (Tuesday) we pressed on, and got ZM11 done too. That fight was ridiculously fast, but I enjoyed it. Congratulations to Xedrik and Kingsofcash!
Later on, we went traipsing around in Sky, walking around to a few islands, enjoying the sights. On a lark, I decided to duck inside Velugannon just to let them see what the inside looks like. We wandered down the entrance stairs, and fought a detector and a few Enkidu. Then, out of nowhere, Zipacna just strolls on by (following his set path). I was agog; I couldn't believe it was just up and prancing about, with no endgame LS anywhere to be found. We ignored it at first, and fought a few more random mobs. We considered attacking it, since we had Xedrik for R3 anyway, so we just decided to have some wacky fun. On Zipacna's next pass through our area, we introduced ourselves. And it smashed us. Xedrik went down to an unfortunate attack, and reraised. Katrel and I managed to zone, and after that I'm a bit fuzzy on the details (since I was outside) but Taaz and KoC didn't zone... and somehow Xedrik died again, w/o reraise. ; ;
Well, that's one way to instill the proper feelings about that place. Welcome to Sky!
