Mr Kapusta - September 2019 to July 2020 Update
So, in trawling through my Lj in order to remember where I was at with things, I ran across my 'Mr Kapusta' posts. I'll never know what Mr Kapusta thought of my 2019 activities - but I'm guessing 'crabby cabbage' covers it...
Life:
Work is still a work in progress, but I'm in a better place within myself - so that's good.
Computer gave up wheezing like a grumpy TARDIS, in fact computer gave up almost completely. I'm now calling it a DVD player. It took a while to replace, in the end I went with a company that customises computers, so I could go on having a DVD player incorporated in its innards - and other fan-friendly bespoke stuff.
Fic:
Read more fic (noblesentiments and mfu_shortstorie) - not as much progress as I would like, in fact pretty much hardly any progress at all, but hopefully this will improve. It appears my Lj AO3 feeds have failed again, which is annoying. Need to put that on my 'to do' list. On the upside, my concentration is noticeably improving.
Something for WT by June 2020 - scraped in under the wire - so yea :0)
Optional - Complete (or nearly complete) WIP for Pros BB by July 2019 (Pros) - failed in 2019 and again in 2020. Didn't even put my name forward for 2020. But happily Pros BB is much bigger than that - but I have started picking at my story for 2019 again, so maybe next year?
Complete 'Park/Hotel' (MFU) - nope
Complete 'MIA' (MFU) - nope (which is annoying, because I was nearly there when I left off)
Complete 'Once Upon a Time Affair' serial (MFU) - nope
Complete 'Old Corpses' (Pros) - I swear I will go to my grave rambling on about this one...
Complete 'Action Squad' (Pros) - nope (again, really annoying because I was nearly there - and it fills a bingo square - no, I *hadn't forgotten about that!)
Complete 'WNGWJLEO' (Pros) - nope
Optional - A sequel for 'The Long Trick' (Pros) - nope, but I thought it might be nice to see the story from Bodie's perspective, so that's at least a plan
Complete 'Virtue' (Pros) - nope
Optional - Complete 'On A High and Windy Hill' (Pros) - nope
Optional - Complete 'Crosshairs' (Pros) - nope
Optional - Complete one Star Trek WIP (ST:TOS) - nope (but I have started reading someone else's fic...)

Aim to clear at least one Zinedom Volunteers zine per weekend - nope, they must presume I'm dead

Find more time for Lj and try to comment on everyone's posts - starting from somewhere close to zero, I can hardly have failed to make progress on this one!
Post more questions to Lj - nope
Find time for picowrimo - it's on, I'm doing it!
Find more time for cheerleading jantojones' Adipose crusade - endeavouring to get up to speed with jantojones' Lj to see where things are at.
Catch up with kelpercomehome's South American adventures - nope, and now there's loads of other stuff.
Write a proper Letter of Comment for 'A Balcony and a View of the Sea' by Helen Raven - nope, I'd really like to read it again with folk - but I'm not sure how to get that off the ground.
Post another 30/31 days of fanwork (and update Lj tags accordingly) - this is the one thing I have made real progress on, still don't have enough for a full month - it's not the finding stuff - it's the curating it - so there's a balance between fandoms, and artwork and fic, and other stuff. And the writing of my little blurb - and the identifying of a good month to post, both for me and other folk - although, I have started experimenting with scheduled posting this week - and so far it seems to have gone okay - so that might help - at least from my perspective...
The one thing I did manage to do was get out to see Angry Birds 2, it was very late in the run, and I was the only person in the audience who hadn't brought a parent or guardian, but I did get to see it :0) Note to self: need to explain to Rovio that pigs, no matter how green, have trotters, not hooves...
