Raise a Glass to the EGG Man
E. Gary Gygax is dead. It’s funny. I’m sufficiently suspicious of internet rumors that I didn’t believe it when I first read it, and refreshed a search of AP news every fifteen minutes until I had real confirmation.
Apparently it’s true. AP didn’t say whether they had attempted to resurrect him yet, or whether that had been tried and he failed his Resurrection Survival Roll or his System Shock Check. I suspect the latter, though.
Gaming has been a major influence on and outlet for me throughout my life. It’s been a greater common element among my friends over the years than any other single factor. I could go on and on about that, though, and this isn’t the time.
Here’s to you, Gary Gygax. You got the dice rolling.
