I agree...I was all for Kucinich for the longest time but now you have persuaded me. I wish I would be back in Michigan as well but I am pretty sure I won't be.
He actually came into the store I work at here in New Hampshire.

I like what Kucinich has to say. I'll bet you see Paul around NH a lot, he's going to win that state by a landslide!!

He has the support of the people, though. Over 95% of the money he raised is from private donors, and more than half of that money was given in small amounts less than $200. None of the other candidates can say they have that kind of support. Nobody's fundraising has taken off faster that Paul's, and because politicians don't want to lose votes, they'll come around to working with him very quickly. Plus, if the other politicians don't support Paul's ideas, you have to ask yourself, what do they support? Higher taxes? Their own retirement on public money? Greater executive power? Continued meddling around the world, Iran being at the top of the list? Do you want to vote for that?

Fair enough. He'll have certainly served a purpose whether he wins or not, though I remain optimistic. Also, I really don't think the changes he'll be making are all that radical; certainly his Constitutional principles are nothing radically new. It's just that we've strayed that far off course. Plus, you're right, candidates are worried about fundraising; that's why Ron Paul is scaring the crap out of them right now. Whereas they're pulling in huge amounts, it's coming from relatively small groups of people who support their ideology, people whose views aren't exactly liked or welcomed by all. Paul is pulling in new supporters and new money from a far more diverse crowd who don't all agree with each other on every little thing, but agree on the principles of personal and financial freedom, and a responsible government who protects them at home without any strings attached. And he's doing it in record numbers ( ... )
