i think i spent the entire day going insane! lajfakjdsklajdkjladssad
did little anything of value today but managed to get some stuff out of the way for school. textbooks will be the death of my bank account but i managed to get two for a reasonable price used, i hope they come very soon. i need it for monday...
what do you do when you oversleep and miss your shift? my boss is going to rip me a new one when he sees me, and i still have to tell him about my school schedule, which'll only leave enough room to work one day a week really. i tried to work more when i first started and that was too stressful.
my classes are pretty interesting; sociology seems like it was the right pick for me, so was environmental. we've already got a nice assignment that i'm so excited for. i'm not usually excited over school projects but we're basically getting told to do something that i do for fun, which entails sitting in nature and being completely silent and observant for a half hour each week for a series of 10 weeks. got that down. alex and i are gonna try and find the same spot so we can do the project together, so we'll be able to kinda work together on a solo project.
this week has been crazycrazycrazy. from the start of school, finding rides, walking instead of taking the bus home to save money, more free time than expected, lowsy outcome on PR, reading, getting to know people better, meeting new folks but still waiting to meet someone who has a wacky connection with me... it's just been fun. i'm enjoying this so far.
